I am 28yrs of age, and have been golfing 22 of them. My passion for golf stemmed from my grandfathers love of the game. My first club was a wooden homemade driver, with a steel plate on the face. It is my goal to allow people the opportunity to experience that same passion for the game. Since taking part in the My TPI program, I have dropped 6 strokes and now crush my 4iron 235yds. Golf Philosophy
Training for golf is not about creating the “perfect” swing. It is about creating the most efficient swing for an individual’s body type. Everyone develops restriction and limitations over time, due to situational forces. It is these limitations which commonly affect the ability to create an efficient golf swing. More often than not golfers will attempt to work around these limitations, creating an inconsistent swing. By dealing with these restrictions & limitations in the gym, we can turn them into strengths and ultimately create a more consistent golf swing.

The opportunity to work with Brendan has been an eye opener and fun. My starting point: I am not a gym person but wanted to improve my golf
fitness. The assessment and the explanation by Brendan on my strengths/weakness relative to the golf swing and my overall fitness gave me a clear starting point. I was able to have input on what priorities my program should have. I recommend to anyone who wants to improve to consider Brendan's positive approuch to sport specific personal training.
Here are the improvements I have seen:
-I have more strength and a greater range of motion. Result: Irons fly higher and straighter as I maintain better posture throughout my swing.
-Over the past year I lost 20 lbs. Result: Love that result.
-Walking any hilly golf course is not a problem. Result: I have fun carrying my bag.
-Gain an average 20 yard with my driver. Result: Do I need to repeat? 20 yards off the tee.
-My back strain issues have disappeared as my core stability improved. Result: More rounds of golf.
Thanks to Brendan I also now understand it doesn't take a lot of time to
improve, it takes knowledge, commitment and a good plan.

I participated in a group classes twice a week for over a year and a half at Results Fitness Studio. My trainer was Brendan Cochern. I achieved great results for the goals I set for myself. Being an avid golfer, Brendan tailored my workouts to include golf specific exercises as well as my regular training. Brendan was very energetic and positive and understood what my goals were. My results were very satisfying. I developed a greater sense of balance and stability enabling me to maintain a good solid foundation for my golf swing. I had good core strength and flexibility allowing me to add more distance and power. I definitely had my best golf season ever .... And Brendan was an integral part of my success.

I have had the privilege of training with Brendan, starting in the spring of this year. When I started, I was an 11 handicap golfer that struggled to maintain my position at that level. By mid summer I benefitted from the four key aspects of the training. Firstly we concentrated on balance and the need to focus on this throughout the swing. Next, we worked on shoulder and hip rotation to create acceleration of the club head, whilst maintaining the balance. Lastly, and equally important as the first three, he showed me how to properly stretch the lats and pec muscles, which allowed for good flexibility when executing each shot. I am now have a nine handicap, hit the ball 20 - 25 yds longer and enjoying the game better . Further benefit was losing 10lbs and three notches on the belt. I can , without hesitation, recommend taking this training program, with Brendan, to improve your golfing experience and general enjoyment of golfing.

Trainer and client will work together over a duration of time to transform his/her restrictions to be strengths.
